My name is Chris Pooley, and I’m passionate about delivering practical, high-quality training that makes a real difference in people’s lives. Since founding INSTRUCKT, my mission has been to empower individuals and teams with the skills they need to work safely and confidently. From First Aid to Forklift Operation and Health & Safety Compliance, I’m here to help you build a safer, more efficient workplace.

From Military Precision
to Community Impact
INSTRUCKT began with a vision to bring the precision and high standards I learned in the British Army to the world of workplace training. My journey started with ten years in the Army, where I specialised in logistics and training, ensuring teams were prepared and ready for any challenge. After leaving the military, I worked as an HGV/LGV trainer during the national driver shortage, which reinforced my commitment to creating training that meets the real needs of today’s workforce.
Today, INSTRUCKT is based in Exeter and serves businesses and individuals throughout the South West. Every course I create is shaped by my experiences and is designed to be interactive, engaging, and relevant – because I believe learning should be enjoyable and practical.

I’m Chris Pooley, Director and Lead Trainer at INSTRUCKT. My approach to training is personal and down-to-earth, blending the knowledge I gained in the Army with the hands-on experience I’ve gained in the civilian sector. I’ve always believed in making learning fun and accessible.
